Lagina Plumbing’s Water Preserve Program Offers Big Savings Opportunities for Hotels, Motels

Through Water Preserve, a typical hotel or motel can cut its water use by more than half! For most properties, that could mean thousands of dollars per year in savings. Significant savings are also possible for other large-volume water users.

The program quantifies savings and ascertains in-house needs to maintain updates and extend savings.

Lagina Plumbing has teamed with the water-conservation experts at Kohler to develop the Water Preserve program. Kohler Co. has been an outstanding business partner with Lagina Plumbing. The Environmental Protection Agency's WaterSense program selected Kohler as its Manufacturing Partner of the Year for 2009 -- a repeat of the designation for 2008.

Lagina Plumbing has worked with a number of area building owners and contractors on water conservation efforts that are part of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) guidelines of the U.S. Green Building Council, and has a LEED accredited professional on staff, Jason Maller.
