Prefabrication Expedites Plumbing Work for Children’s Hospital Clinic in New Berlin

When general contractor C.G. Schmidt wanted to ensure a timely design and installation of plumbing systems for the new Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Clinics -- New Berlin, it chose Lagina Plumbing of Milwaukee. Lagina Plumbing was able to meet the contractor's requirements and ensure high quality in the plumbing systems because of the capabilities provided by its 8,5000-square-foot prefabrication shop.

The 74,000-square-foot clinic was recently built in a 35-acre medical office park along Beloit Road in the Milwaukee suburb of New Berlin.

Lagina Plumbing installed complete interior plumbing systems to handle numerous medical labs in the comprehensive medical facility. Lagina’s work included installation of medical gas, air and vacuum systems for the pediatric primary and specialty clinic.

“Our fabrication shop really helped us meet the tight schedule laid out for this project by two terrific companies, C.G. Schmidt and Irgens Development, while ensuring quality through the controlled environment of our prefab shop,” said Jim Lagina, president of Lagina Plumbing.
