Lagina Teams with Hunzinger on new Derse Headquarters

April 28, 2008 -- Lagina Plumbing is handling complete interior and exterior plumbing systems for the new Derse headquarters being built at 3800 W. Canal St. in Milwaukee’s Menomonee Valley.

“We are extremely excited to be again working with Hunzinger Construction and project manager Andie Rodenkirch,” said Jim Lagina, president of Lagina Plumbing. “Our team is grateful to have been selected to serve as the plumber; we will not disappoint the customer. Full speed ahead!”

Lagina Plumbing’s work on the Derse building involves fabrication and manufacturing areas, painting, training and office build-outs meeting green criteria under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) guidelines.  Eppstein Uhen Architects designed the building.

Hunzinger Construction is putting up a two-story, 155,000-square-foot building for Derse, one of the nation’s largest exhibition and display companies. Derse is currently on 62nd Street in Wauwatosa. Derse is one of several companies that have relocated into new facilities in the Menomonee Valley Industrial Center.
