Work on Brookfield Claim Jumpers Restaurant is Fourth Shawmut Project for Lagina Plumbing

March 21, 2008 -- Wisconsin’s first Claim Jumpers restaurant will open in June at Brookfield Square, with plumbing by Milwaukee’s Lagina Plumbing.
It’s the fourth restaurant for which Boston-based Shawmut Design and Construction has selected Lagina Plumbing as a contracting partner. Shawmut also selected Lagina Plumbing for the recently opened McCormick & Schmicks’ Seafood Restaurant at Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa, and earlier for the P.F. Chang’s China Bistro at Mayfair and the Cheesecake Factory at Mayfair Mall.
“It’s a treet to work with Shawmut Design and Construction again,” said Lagina Plumbing president Jim Lagina. “We appreciate the trust Shawmut has shown to us in selecting us for this exciting project.”
Lagina Plumbing is handling complete interior and exterior plumbing for the restaurant.
The 12,000-square-foot Claim Jumper restaurant will be on the east side of Brookfield Square, with an address of 95 N. Moorland Rd.
Claim Jumper Restaurants, based in California, has 44 restaurants, primarily in the western states of California, Arizona, Oregon, Colorado, Nevada and Washington. Along with Wisconsin in the Midwest, it has several restaurants in Illinois.
The restaurants have a California gold rush theme.
The company, online at www.claimjumper.com, anticipates a June 2 opening for the Brookfield Square site.
