Oct. 29 , 2007 — Lagina Plumbing is providing commercial plumbing services for the new McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant being built on the grounds of Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa, Wis.

“We’re honored that this fast-growing, premier restaurant corporation selected Lagina Plumbing for its first location in Wisconsin,” said Jim Lagina, president of the Milwaukee plumbing company.

The $1.5 million facility will be an 8,000-square-foot restaurant that will seat about 260 diners. It is being built on one acre of land on the northwest side of the mall property.

A December opening is anticipated. “Were confident that our state-of-the-art in-house fabrication shop and our diligent project management approach will help the construction team meet the December goal,” Lagina said.

“Our use of the Total Station technology also proved valuable to keep this project on track,” Lagina added. “The Total Station system in an incredibly effective and efficient way to identify and map out existing underground piping, and to tie that information into plumbing design plans.”

Boston-based Shawmut Design and Construction, which handles McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant construction throughout the country, is the general contractor for the Mayfair project.

This is the third restaurant for which Shawmut has selected Lagina as its plumbing partner. Lagina Plumbing also handled plumbing design and installation for the popular P.F. Chang’s China Bistro at Mayfair, and for The Cheesecake Factory at Bayshore Town Center in Glendale.

Lagina Plumbing also has provided plumbing installation for such notable food venues as the Milwaukee Public Market and The Capital Grille restaurant in downtown Milwaukee.

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant currently has 78 restaurants, all company owned, in the U.S. and Canada. The restaurants are positioned in the “affordable upscale dining” segment. The company was founded more than 30 years ago in Portland, Ore., and became publicly held in 2004 (Nasdaq: MSSR).
